Order references shouldn't disclose the total number of orders
Right now order numbers are values of an auto-incrementing field. As a result, the total number of orders placed in the store is disclosed to customers.
Instead of using an auto-incrementing field as the order number, order numbers (order refs) should be made from the date the order was placed and the number of orders placed that day. I.e. it should look like this: ORDER-2011-03-12-1, where "order" is a prefix specified by the store owner.

Upgrade from LC 2 to LC3
Is it going to be possible to upgrade from LC version 2 to ver 3, or is it going to be like starting over?
4 votesThe LC3 core greatly differs from the LC2 one. Moreover, LC3 has a different set of features. So, more likely it is going to be like starting over. However, we plan to develop a script importing products from LC2-generated product files.

Instant Pin Delivery
Instant Pin Delivery, then, must think of having option for selling calling cards. Calling Cards Modules options should be available, such as rate table database, place for calling instructions to be emailed with pins codes, option to hide sold pins when installing new pins so the page does not get too long. Also, templates must be friendly, now cannot make any changes on the template for marketing, but on the sides there should be option to put texts or banners.

Total Web Solutions Payment Gatway
One of the UK's lowest priced PCI Level 1 accredited Payment Gateways offering dedicated customer support and plenty of add-on options.
This would be an excellent addition to LiteCommerce.

Improve paypal wps so able to set to authorise only
(as in x-cart), this would allow for capturing larger or smaller amounts than shown price, sometimes needed when extra shipping charges may need to be added, or customer may call and ask to increase quantity etc.

Provide a marketing tool integration.
I found a tool (ProActive eCommerce Client) to send real-time ads to customers or redirect them to special products. Really useful.

Ability to download and upload modules from LC website for those without Phar extension.
I dont have the Phar extension - but i still need to install modules. You need to add a module marketplace on your own website, then i can download them off there and reupload them to mine.

Warehouse management system
1. Providers and admin will be able to create warehouse and set information on profile modify page with specific attributes (Warehouse name, email, contact person, phone and so on)
2. When creating a product it will be assigned to some warehouse.
3. Shipping cost on checkout will be calculated as sum of shipping cost of each warehouse basing on warehouse address or warehouse shipping rates (based on defined shipping methods).
4. When order is placed into the store, it will be divided on sub-orders (One sub-order for each provider that products were ordered).3 votes
