  Monthly and Yearly options would be a good idea so that one can offer the option membership subscription on a yearly basis.

  Integrate a couple of well-known payment gateways - PayPal, Authorize.net and make the subscription module extendable for other gateways.

  It would be a great start to have it working with the Paypal Subscription feature! As I see it the biggest need is for LiteCommerce to be able to automatically change the user role every time a subscription payment is received in Paypal (or other payment gateway), or a subscription is canceled.
  That way you can have the "Subscriber" user role to auto expire at the end of every month, and if a payment is received LC will automatically postponed the expire date another month.

  Is it possible to implement that way? If no, any thoughts on how to go about it?

  Since PCI DSS recommends to not store cardholder data, the subscription functionality requires a payment gateway having a recurring billing API. Therefore we would appreciate if you mention what a payment gateway you would like to be integrated. Thanks!
